About

First purchased by Jeff Donnelly in 1999 and re-opened in November 2011 after a 2007 fire gutted the room, the new Bimini Public House was designed by Evoke International Designs in conjunction with Jeff Donnelly. Once the meeting place for Greenpeace and BC’s first licensed neighborhood pub, the historic public house uses new materials throughout – imported patterned tile and custom light fixtures and furniture – as well as 85 year old wood reclaimed from a defunct Vancouver mill, to give the room a modern but warm, familiar feel. The Bimini serves 24 craft beers on draft, cocktails designed to impress enthusiasts and win over those new to cocktail culture, and modern pub fare from interesting seasonal menus using only organic, locally sourced products.
