Baverniess (Bah-ver-nee-ess)

It may be hard to pronounce, but the flavor is found in the word: Complex. Bourbon and Amaro come together with a stout dating back 253 years to create a cocktail that is both bitter and herbal.

1oz Maker’s Mark Bourbon
1oz Averna Amaro
3 dash angostura bitters
1/2oz Maple syrup
1 orange wedge
3oz Guinness

In a cocktail mixing glass add 1oz Maker’s Mark Bourbon and 1oz Averna Amaro. Add 3 dash Angostura bitters and squeeze 1 orange wedge into drink (discard). Add 1/2oz maple syrup and 3oz Guinness. Fill glass with ice and shake and strain into a martini glass.
